Unbreakable ChainThe sound of the falling rain like a soft song.
A room so white it blinded the eyes.
Only two figures sat on the couch next to the window, one watching the droplets fall onto the earth, the other looking happily forward with a content smile. Two very different beings indeed.
The smiling one turned his blue eyes to the other. "What's wrong...Roxas?"
The black clad young man continued to stare out at the dark grey world outside the window and didn't move. His face was that of an intelligent human, and he seemed to be thinking hard with a melancholic look on his face. He sat with his one knee on the couch, and rested his arm on it.
Slowly his dark blue eyes drifted down to his arm, expression never even changing. A large chain tied around his wrist, and fell down to the floor. It came back up to tie around the smiling one's waist. A bond that could not be broken, not even by the strongest and deepest darkness.
Sora's smile slowly tipped down. "You okay?"
Roxas looked back out
A thousand paper airplanes floating through the sky
I want to be one of them...
I suppose I won't see you for quite some time, will I?
It doesn't matter anymore
I know that when the blue eyes open we will wake from our slumber
And I can give you a happy smile like I used to
Holding WINNER sticks in our hands
Laughing and joking like the old days
I know in my heart they will happen again
There is no doubt or sad thought anymore
I know it's such a silly thought
But it comes from the happiest part of me
I'm tired of this sadness and pain
Let's get back to those old days
Let's be free
Broken Promises-IenzoLike being hit by a wrecking ball, the boy's heart broke at his mother's face. She looked down with such cold disgust and disdain for her own son. A snarl like sound escaped her shiny red lips and her eyes narrowed. For a moment it was just silence...nothing but a stare down. Blue eyes against turquoise. I hate everything about you. Why do I love you? The young boy thought, small and innocent. Why do you hate me? Questions never answered, he knew in his heart.
"Why did I have to be stuck with a freak like you?" She said with an angry sigh, closing her mesmerizing eyes.
A choking sound came from her son, and he looked down at the floor, eyes searching. "Why can't you be more like your brother? ....Oh well. You can't change some things." She studied her shiny, perfect nails and flipped her long hair. The boy didn't know if it was soft or not....he'd never been permitted to touch it before. It sure was shiny, though.
"I'm sick of listening to your crap. Books this, books tha
Lea and RelenaTaking a bite of her icecream, Xion looked over to her friends. "Hey Axel! Tell us a story!"
Roxas jolted up at the idea and nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah Axel! Tell us a story!" He laughed
The spiky red haired Nobody looked over with half closed eyes. "...Are you serious? I feel like I'm babysittin' a bunch of three year olds..."
"Oh c'mon!" Roxas punched Axel on the arm. "You sayin' you don't have any good stories for us?"
Xion nodded and leaned back to see her him better. "No Roxas, I'll bet Axel is just so boring that he doesn't have any good stories. Hmm...turning into Saix maybe?"
His green eyes flashed open and he fisted his hand around his icecream. "Alright, Alright. If I tell ya a story will ya quit comparing me to Saix?"
"Yep!" The two replied in unison, both all smiles.
He sighed and scratched the back of his spiky head. "Okay...So there was this world. It was considered the capital of light. Lots of good folks lived there, but one of 'em wasn't so nice."

KH-The Other Story P5Part 5
Sora watched as Roxas walked slowly through the hall just a few feet away. All day, he had barely spoken at all. The shock of hearing his new friends were injured and hurt had caused him to draw away from everyone, even his own brother. Sora was concerned...Rox could be kind of aloof sometimes but...this was ridiculous. That night, when Sora had gotten the text from Riku, everything had fallen apart.
Roxas had stood, looking up at the sky blankly, while Sora ran around telling practically everyone. Kairi had gotten up and took Sora by the shoulders. "Sora..Sora! What happened? How did Riku get your number...are your friends okay?"
He had shook his head. "I don't know..I don't know...and how Riku got it? I have no idea...he said on 34th! DAD! We have to go to 34th!"
Their father had already gotten up and got his coat. "Let's go, boys" Sora had ran after him, but stopped as he realized Roxas had not been following. "Roxas!" He yelled, turning aro
Sora X KairiSora sighed as he sat there on a high tree branch, staring at the Paopu Fruit which now lay in his hand. Shaking his head Sora sighed again, as he put the Paopu Fruit back down and turned his gaze to the horizon ahead of him.
Ever since Riku had told Sora about the legend of the Paopu Fruit, Sora had been trying to pick up the courage to ask Kairi to share a Paopu Fruit with him, but each time he tried to he chickened out, afraid in case she would reject him.
"If two people share one, their destinies become intertwined. They'll remain a part of each other's lives no matter what " Sora muttered under his breath, remembering what Riku's exact words were when he'd told Sora about the legend of the Paopu Fruit.
"Hey! Sora!" A voice called out from the bottom of the tree and looking down Sora saw Kairi standing there, hands on her hips and a cheerful smile on her face.
"Hey Kairi, what's up?" Sora asked, as Kairi climbed up the tree and plopped herself down on the branch next to Sora,
Alone. . .
in the depth of eternity
separated from my friends
There's no hope
Alone! I sob
trying to hold onto your voice,
when we meet again
Alone I may not survive.
Sora and Kairi Fanfiction - Let it Burn Part 1Destiny
It had been an easy thing for Kairi to bring Sora and Riku to her room. The Princess of Heart had reasoned that they'd spent enough time apart; she had also accurately gathered that Sora and Riku's parents would soon keep them away. So with a strained smile, she'd put the final nail in the coffin:
"I don't want to wake up without you, because I'm afraid this is all a dream. What if you truly didn't come back from your fight with Xemnas?" This thought had Kairi worrying her bottom lip; and though her eyes shone no apprehension, her tiny action and words showed her true feelings as bright as day.
Surprisingly enough, it was Riku that was first to comfort her. He stealthily climbed atop the bent paopu tree to sit on Kairi's left side. Instead of putting his hand atop hersthe way one usually would do when comforting someoneRiku grabbed hold of her much thinner and fragile feeling hand; Riku put her hand to his chest. "We're real, Kairi." His voice was similar to that
Just Another Kid on the StreetAn outcast;
That's how people referred to Roxas the minute they looked at him and his old worn out clothing, his greased hair, and dirty face. To everyone he was a street rat, nothing more, everything less. But, after years of this abuse towards him, he had gotten used to it.
'I go through hell everyday, just to wake up tomorrow and do it all over again.'
Roxas; a 15 year old male, with blonde hair and ocean blue eyes, had been living on the streets. Abandoned by his parents at just the age of 5, and forced into an orphanage. He stood out from the other kids, he being the only one with blonde hair and everyone else had black and brown hair. Even then, he was an outcast. Do you know how it feels to be alone? Knowing no one cares if you would die right now? Course not; you don't have the life Roxas has. By the age of 9, he was still in the orphanage, waiting for his parents to return but they never did. He had so much hope, and it just all went down the drain. He then escaped and
29. Happiness“We-we’re back!” Sora exclaimed, smiling up at the redhead.
“You’re home,” she smiled back, holding out her hand for him to grab. Obligingly, he took it, at the same time, returning her precious lucky charm she had lent him. They continued talking to Goofy, Donald, Riku, and Mickey until sundown, when the three had to leave.
Riku had already returned to the larger island, leaving the two teens on the paopu tree, watching the sun set and the stars gleam brighter. “So, we’re home now…” Sora began, feeling remorse as he spoke those words. A year away from Kairi, and this was all he could say? He knew what he wanted to say, but as if that were to come out of his mouth anytime soon. The brunette glanced at the female. She was beautiful in this light, he thought. Then, shaking his head, he corrected himself, she looks beautiful in any light. He could feel the blood rising to his cheeks, his heart
Sora and Kairi Fanfiction - Let it Burn Part 3Always
Sora wondered how he was supposed to look at Kairi as though nothing had changed. He, always the optimist, would have loved nothing more than to pretend everything was alright. But it wasn't. And in the worst way possible to boot. His dreams (that had been of past memories and failures) had turned to something else completely. In his dreams he found himself killing her.
The Keyblade master tried desperately to believe that it was just his Anti-Form acting up again. He wanted to believe they were just dreams. But how could he? That book of Yen Sid had spoken very little of the future when he'd read it. So why, then, did Sora think it applied to him so much? That he himself was shaping things so another fight could happen?
"Will the day come when this battle, born of confusion, will end?
It is different things to different people.
Can the reality be that which is hidden?
The reason is mere existence.
Still, memories can be believed.
Be not afraid. Entrust your body to the
Contest Entry RikuNami-ComfortRiku could feel himself slipping. He was standing on the edge of being consumed with darkness. The rain hit against him vigorously as he headed for the mansion. He pushed the gates open, heaving breaths of air into his lungs. He cried out in pain, clutching his chest as he staggered inside the dry, cold mansion and up the old, rickety flight of stairs towards Naminé's chamber. This wasn't the first time he had had a 'darkness attack'. He needed someone to be there with him while he suffered through this. As he approached the door, he could her hear singing inside. His darkness-coated heart leaped inside of his chest. He fumbled with the knob and pulled it open, collapsing in the doorway.
Naminé jumped and turned to find Riku lying motionless on the floor. Darkness swathed around him, claiming him as its prey. He cried out again, trying to keep his heart from being taken. Naminé gasped and knelt down beside him. "R-Riku, what happened?!"
"It-Its growing, Naminé." He
Never ChangeKairi wrinkled her nose at the sound of her heels clicking echoes into the vast ballroom. She wasn't used to the shoes the maids insisted she wear or the puffy dress and long-sleeved gloves... anything! Her skirts were always short, shoes flat and shirts without sleeves; the islands were hot and sunny, the sand warm and the lights warmer. Unlike the castle she restlessly roamed, contemplating her options when her noisy heels weren't so distracting. The stone walls were cold, even with the sunlight's touch. It was beautiful, but it wasn't home.
"U-Uh--" a voice stumbled from the doorway, hesitating to enter, "I'm looking for a girl named Kairi. Could youEh?! Kairi, that's you?!"
Sora remained at the entrance, gobsmacked. He'd been wandering the bastion, lost for he didn't know how long, feeling like Mario sorry, but the princess is in another castle. Nevertheless, stammering and gaping was not how he planned to meet up with Kairi.
"I should think so," Kairi giggl
Taste of SaltSuper nova summers and endless nights.
How many times have I sat atop this clock tower, wishing for....something more.
Longing to hear the beat of a heart that doesn't exist.
Longing to feel, anything.
The sun casts a shadow and I find it ironic.
Can shadows cast shadows?
What if I fell?.....Would I shatter to a million pieces, or would I just...
The taste of the sea on my lips: sweet and salty, bitter and unsure.
And something else.
The taste of you and forgotten memories.
The memory of a room filled with white, a lonely room.
A memory of you.
The world slips away and fades to black as I find myself falling, falling down.
I close my eyes waiting to shatter, but instead I feel the blaze of summer on my skin.
I hear the tinkling of laughter and I find that the warmth is you, holding me close.
I told you we'd meet again. You say with a soft smile.
And together we find a way to be whole.
To Ienzo, from ZexionDear myself,
Just the same as you, I have done terrible things.
He took me in out of the kindness of his heart.
In response, I turned towards the darkness and threw him to the side.
The man who promised to take care of me and give me ice cream.
As a small child, that was the best thing I could have asked for.
Somewhere warm, and someone to keep me living.
He acted as my father, Master and mentor.
I believe that if I could express regrets, sending him into darkness
would be the biggest one.
Cordially, yourself, Number VI.
Inspector Wolf The old lady was dead. I could smell it before I even got into the house. The whole place reeked of adrenaline, sweat, fear, copper and steel. He’d dropped her right in her living room. Chopped and chopped until she stopped moving. But I could tell I was getting close. This had been done in a hurry, and the killer didn’t have the time to clean up after himself like he usually did.
Across the room, the phone rang. The shrill sound set my teeth to grinding, but I ignored it. Instead I followed the killer’s bloody footprints into the back bedroom. He’d climbed out the window. If I hurried, I could catch up to him and end this disgusting spree he was on.
Then the answering machine kicked in. “Hi, Gramma! It’s Red. Sorry I’m running late. I kind of lost track of time. But don’t worry. I packed the picnic and I’m heading out the door right now. Love you.”
She’d been expec
