The warming summer sun, coupled with a light breeze flowing across Twilight Town created a sense of peace throughout. The blonde walked with no purpose but to enjoy the nice weather. The occurrences around town had disturbed him...Only a moment of silence could calm him now. Walking steadily out of the trees, he saw the large mansion looming ahead.
Something about that abandoned place gave him an uneasy feeling...like if he went inside, he could never escape. He reached the middle of the clearing, just outside the grand gates, and stared up into the windows. A movement caught his eyes, and they locked onto the right window of the house.
In front of two white curtains sat a figure. She leaned on the windowsill, legs stretched up to fit inside. The boy's large blue eyes widened and he stared with a look of shock on his face. Wasn't this place supposed to be abandoned?!
The girl looked through a few strands of black hair out of the corner of her eye. A defeated smile appeared on her face. "I've delayed as much as I can...looks like it's almost time."
"W-..." He couldn't speak, he was so in shock from his random person. Who was she? What was she talking about?!
"Anyways," She continued with a sigh, "There's not much more I can do now.. Roxas, tell me. You really don't remember anything at all?"
Anger welled up inside his heart. Everyone was asking him things, telling him what to do, where to go, who he was, who he wasn't, what he could and couldn't do. It was...not right. "Why does everyone keep asking me that?! Just like that Axel guy! Who are you?! How do you know me?!" He yelled up at the blue eyed girl.
She turned, her profile facing him. "Nothing...After all those times together..."
His eyes widened at the sudden flash of light in his eyes.
"Who am I?"
"Come back with us!"
"I'll protect you, no matter what."
"Roxas...I'm out of time..."
Holding his head in pain, Roxas staggered back and looked up at the window through his hand. "I...I know who I am! I don't know what you're trying to do, but it's not working! Leave me alone!"
Slowly she hugged her black clad knees and blinked. "It's okay. We'll be together soon anyways...." She murmured to herself more than to him. "Roxas!" She suddenly called, putting her hands to the window. "Don't give up on yourself, and don't let anyone tell you who you are." She slowly put her hands to her chest. "You're just....Roxas. You will remember us again, soon."
Roxas couldn't understand what the girl was trying to say to him, and like that...She began to fade from view.
"Hey! Wait a second-!"
With shine of a million crystals, she went away.
The pieces fell to the ground.
And landed with a tink.
