The blue, red and yellow lights flashed brightly through the club as the two men entered through the door. Countless people crowded together on the shining dance floor as the loud pop music blared through every speaker in the building. The two made their way through the thick crowd towards the bar, and took a seat.
"What'll ya have?" The bartender with a british accent asked the two.
"I'll have a...uh...martini. Yeah! One of those!" The first man said while fixing his extremely gelled mullet.
"I'll take a beer." Added the red head. He rolled his eyes at his companion's utter idiocy towards drinks and looked out to the dancing bodies.
As the bartender went to make their drinks, the red head's friend tapped his shoulder. "Why'd we come here, man?! It's too loud, and there's too many drunk people!"
His obvious fear annoyed his friend slightly, and he turned over with sharp green eyes. "We came 'cause you suggested coming here, Demyx, you idiot."
"Whoa, whoa! Calm down, Axel! I'm just asking!" He opened his mouth to add something else when the bartender set their drinks down. "Thanks!"
Axel once again rolled his eyes at Demyx's lack of knowledge and took a large gulp of beer. As he did, the bartender chuckled.
"Somethin' funny?" Axel asked.
The brit's eyes led to the door as he spoke. "That one there," He chuckled, "Is a load of trouble."
Axel and Demyx both turned in their chairs to see a tall blonde walk into the club. Her hair was slicked back, and two odd strands stuck out like a pair of antennae. The women's bright green eyes scanned the room with a conceited spark as she walked forward. A few people even seemed to recognize her and jumped out of her path.
"W-Who is that chic?!" Demyx turned and asked the snickering bartender.
"Her name's Larxene. She comes in here almost every Saturday night. I had to kick 'er out last week."
Axel's green eyes turned from curious to hungry. "Oi, Demyx. Watch my drink." He slowly stood from his seat.
Demyx looked up with wide, frightened eyes. "Wh...What?! You're gonna go talk to her?! Don't do it, man! She looks like a crazy one!"
The bartender once more nodded. "Not exactly the best company, mate."
Instead of listening, Axel looked out to her and smirked. "I'll take my chances. Wish me luck, boys."
The red hunter slinked forward through the crowd seamlessly towards his yellow prey. What he didn't know was that he had quite a lot in store for him this hunt. He got a few feet away from her before stopping to take a look. She slipped off her leather jacket to reveal a close-fitting orange tanktop that got a few looks from the guys around her. Axel watched as one made his way over to her and whispered something in her ear. For a moment he just stood there smirking, and then went to kiss her neck. Just as he leaned down, Axel swooped into the scene and gave the other man a stern look.
"Hey man. Care to get off my girl?" A confident smirk slowly appeared on his face.
The other man backed away from Larxene's body and stared a few moments before throwing his arms in the air and disappearing into the crowd. Larxene looked up with a half annoyed, half grateful look.
"Hmm? I'm your girl now?" She asked with a voice full of hidden venom.
Axel smoothly tapped his temple. "Just for tonight. Don't forget it."
She suspiciously slung her jacket over her shoulder, then gave a cunning smile. "All right. For tonight, I'm your girl. And maybe if you don't annoy me, I could be your girl next Saturday too."
"Well then," Axel chuckled softly, "Looks like we've got a deal then."
